Welp, I successfully survived my first semester of college at CCAD~ And I didn't think it was all THAT bad. I feel like the only time I was piled with projects was like the two last weeks of the semester. But I did isolate myself inside of my room to work on stuff for the entire last weekend before finals week. But it's all good, I got everything done and didn't get lower on a B- on all the things I got back. So this makes me assume that I got at least a B in all of my classes, which makes me happy.

So far college life has been extremely entertaining. I've formed a great group of friends and become a very social person. I've become one of those people that always wants to be socializing and doing stuff with friends. Over Thanksgiving break I was able to get a new battery for my laptop and something that lets my wireless internet work again, so now I'm able to hang out in the lobby basically all day long. Just once everyone goes to bed around midnight on weeknights, I go back to my room to work on homework, so it works out great.

Just in this first semester that I've been here, I've definitely improved A LOT in my artwork. I haven't really gotten around to doing many of my own projects in my time here though. But I hope to start working on all of them over break again. Just looking through my gallery, I've realized that all of my work is school stuff. XD Plus I haven't been updating it as much as I used to. For those of you that are watching my scraps, I apologize for the giant overloads I have some days. I basically post EVERYTHING art-related that I've ever done on DA, so all of the sketches, unfinished stuff, or just things I don't like, go into my scraps. Sooo if you don't want to see that, go ahead and unwatch my scraps. XD

Since I've come to CCAD, I've really been playing way more video games in my free time. I've also come to start loving Sonic a lot more than I used to. XD But while I've been here, I've already beaten five games: Kirby 64, Pokemon Ruby, Sonic CD, Sonic Generations, and Sonic 4. I was hoping to beat Persona 4 as well, but about two months into the semester, I started only playing games out in the lobby and really just took a break from playing games in my room. I hope to beat it over break though, because I really want to start watching the anime.

I really need to catch up on a lot of anime and manga that I was reading, too. The only anime I've really watched since I got here was Naruto Shippuuden, Hunter x Hunter, and Soul Eater. Well, and old episodes of Bleach, Durarara!!!, and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Once I beat Persona 4, I'll finally be able to start on the anime, too, and I'm excited for that~ Also a lot of my friends are into Homestuck, so I figure maybe I'll give it a chance over break, but I dunno.

Although I haven't done many personal projects, I did start on an animation for the "Animation Smackdown" that my friends and I are doing over break. Also I've been working a little bit on my RPGmaker game, Kids Detective Game. I haven't made TOO much in it yet, but at least I worked on it a bit. I plan to start back up working on my other RPGmaker games like Slanktin Fighters and Speedvore, but I haven't even finished drawing all of the faces for those yet.

Oh but another thing that's happened since I've come to CCAD is that I've become a lot more adventurous. Sometimes I just get bored of sitting out in the lobby all day long and really feel like going out and exploring or going somewhere. So my friends and I started this tradition where we go out to Steak n Shake and some other places every Friday night.

I've also gotten a lot more interested in creepypastas and scary things in the past few months. My friends and I have read and watched a bunch of creepypastas. Me and ~furret306 even started writing a creepypasta of our own, but we haven't finished it yet. The only creepypastas that really had an impact on us were BEN Drowned and Marble Hornets. After we read/watched those two, a bunch of creepy things started happening in our lives and stuff. But that's a whole long story and chain of events that I don't feel like going into. XD

So basically I've been having a really great time at CCAD, and I'm actually somewhat sad to be leaving here to go home for break. I know it'll be a fun break, but it's still sad to have to leave all of my friends that I've been living with for the past few months. I know it's only a month away from everyone, but still. I'm still excited to see ~JrTruffle and the rest of my family, and maybe even see some old friends.

I will try to upload more art and actually be productive on my own projects this break! I will accomplish my goal~
