Sticking Together

These two are ~Calamospondylus's OCs, Daiyu Jia and Meihui Shu Xing. ^^ This is my part of the New Years 2011 Swap.

Lately I've really been wanting to improve my art... A LOT. So I thought I'd try to change my style to make it look better. Thanks so much to *tooaya for her amazing tutorial! It really helped me with changing the thickness of my lines in my lineart. Although I still need to improve my coloring abilities a lot more (since I was originally aiming for a cg coloring style, but it turned a bit more into my semi-realistic style). Surprisingly the pen pressure really does improve my artwork a lot, and I actually like my lineart much better than my coloring on this one (which usually is not the case with my other drawings).
